From January 9 to March 20, 2024, Prairie Land trustees embarked on a significant effort to engage with their communities, gathering valuable insights from our staff, parents, guardians, and community members through in-person meetings and digital surveys. A comprehensive report was generated from all of the valuable insights shared during this process.
From these engagements, which saw 152 participants in meetings and 62 comprehensive survey responses, trustees have gained a deeper understanding of the needs, aspirations, and concerns of our Prairie Land communities. This feedback is vital as Prairie Land strives to enhance the educational experience within our schools and foster an environment where every student can thrive.
The report details the current state of our educational framework across four critical areas: Teaching and Learning, Health and Wellness, Culture and Inclusivity, and Engagement and Community. Each section not only reflects the feedback received but also outlines strategic actions proposed to address specific needs.
This report serves as a directive for the board’s planning and action, aiming to adapt and improve educational practices in Prairie Land to meet the challenges of an ever-changing educational landscape. It is also a call to foster ongoing dialogue and collaboration that will continue to ignite innovation and dedication among all stakeholders.
