Academic/Citizenship Scholarship
For demonstrating citizenship and volunteerism within the school and community. Awarded to a student with an average greater than 80% and a student with an average greater than 70%. $250.00 scholarships
Collins Barrow Senior Leadership/Citizenship Scholarship
Awarded to a student in senior high who demonstrates outstanding leadership and citizenship. $150.00 scholarship

Consort Lions Club Scholarship Awards
The Consort Lions Club offers two scholarship awards, on an annual basis.

The award is offered to students who enroll in one-year certificate programs, two year diploma programs or Apprenticeship training programs at a Canadian post-secondary institution. Preference will be given to Technical and apprenticeship Training Programs.

Coronation / Consort Victim Services Scholarship
David & Betty Molloy Student Award 
For high school graduating students who are a Canadian resident, enrolled in a post-secondary institution in an agricultural program. - click here for details

Legion Citizenship Award
Awarded to a student who has demonstrated citizenship, school and community volunteerism. $500.00 scholarship
Neutral Hills Agricultural Society Scholarships
Pioneer Homestead Bursary (Estate of Ruth Rushfeldt Curry)

Student of the Year
Applicants are evaluated according to academic standing, extracurricular participation and citizenship. $250.00 scholarship
Veteran and District Lions Club Scholarships
The Veteran and District Lions Club will award two $500 scholarships annually to graduates of Consort School.

The following criteria will be used to determine the recipients of these scholarships.

1.     must have completed Grade 9 at Veteran School and be a resident of the Veteran area as defined by the following boundaries: 

       * North to the County of Paintearth

       * South  to Special Area #2

       * East  to the Loyalist road

       * West  to the County of Paintearth

2.     must be registered to enter post-secondary education on the year they apply for the scholarship,

3.     must have a strong academic record, however he/she does not have to be the top student in the class,

4.      must have demonstrated community involvement by participation in activities such as sports, 4-H activities, or other leadership roles in the community,

5.      must demonstrate financial need.

To apply for one of these scholarships, you must complete an application form available from your school. A letter of recommendation from either the school counsellor or principal must accompany the application.

Applications must be received no later than June 1st of the year in which they plan to attend a post-secondary institution. The selection process committee will include representation from the Veteran and District Lions Club and Consort School. Successful applicants will be notified over the summer.

They will receive a cheque from the Veteran & District Lions Club once attendance at a post-secondary institution is confirmed in the fall (please provide such confirmation to the Veteran & District Lions Club, Veteran, AB, T0C 2S0)

Grade 10

Patricia Bye Award of Excellence
Awarded to the top Academic student in grade 10. $200.00 scholarship
Achievement Award (Grade 10)
Awarded to the grade 10 student with the 2nd highest average. $100.00 scholarship
Grade Ten Merit Award
Awarded to a student in grade 10 who demonstrates outstanding effort and dedication to schoolwork in his/her chosen courses of study. $50.00 scholarship

Grade Eleven

Award of Excellence
Awarded to the top Academic student in grade 11. $200.00 scholarship
Achievement Award (Grade 11)
Awarded to the grade 11 student with the 2nd highest average. $100.00 scholarship
Grade Eleven Merit Award
Awarded to a student in grade 11 who demonstrates outstanding effort and dedication to schoolwork in his/her chosen courses of study. $50.00 scholarship

Grade Twelve

Neutral Hills Academic Achievement Award
Awarded to the top Academic student in grade 12. This scholarship will be awarded in the fall as Diploma exam results are essential in determining the recipient. $500.00 scholarship

Grade Twelve Neutral Hills Merit Award
Awarded to a student in grade 12 who demonstrates outstanding effort and dedication to schoolwork in his/her chosen courses of study. $100.00 scholarship

Awarded to a grade twelve student who demonstrates citizenship and volunteerism within the school and the community. $300.00 scholarship
